A 3 degree separation is maintained between the heating and cooling setpoints at all times.
For example, the cooling setpoint CANNOT be set below the heating setpoint. The thermostat will "push" the heating setpoint down to maintain the 3 degree separation. The same is true for raising the heating setpoint above the cooling setpoint.
The 3 degree separation avoids both heating and cooling being enabled at the same time in auto mode. Click here to learn more about auto mode.
A Stelpro thermostat is for heating only. Simply adjust the target temperature to a number higher than the actual temperature. The target temperature is the smaller number displayed beneath the larger actual temperature number.
Press the “up” and “down” arrow buttons until the target temperature reaches your desired temperature. The target temperature is the smaller number displayed beneath the larger actual temperature number.
The minimum set point is 41°F (5°C) and the maximum set point is 86°F (30°C).
There is no fan mode on the Stelpro thermostat.
This indicates the thermostat's target temperature is set below 45°F (7°C) and water pipes may be subject to freezing.
This is a heating status graph. Whenever the thermostat is actively heating a room, the heating status graph will display the heating percentage. It's roughly correlated with heating power.
